Notifications Settings

On the My Notifications Settings page, you can set what emails notifications you wish to receive related to your account. In order to access this page, you have to navigate to the My Notifications Settings link under the My Account section.

On this page, you can select the notifications you want to receive through your email address:

1.  Check this box if you want to subscribe to account notifications. The user will receive email notifications when:

  • their account is disabled,
  • their account is enabled,
  • their account is created,
  • when they forget their password,
  • their email address is changed,
  • when they reactivate their account,
  • when they registration as a broadcaster is approved or declined,
  • images from their account are deleted,
  • their blog is deleted.

2.  Check this box if you want to subscribe to channel notifications. The user will receive email notifications when:

  • their channel is enabled,
  • their channel is disabled,
  •  a channel is set as featured,
  • a channel is set as NOT featured,
  • a channel is flagged,
  • a channel is scheduled (follower),
  • a channel starts broadcast (follower),
  • a channel or event password,
  • a channel is published,
  • a channel is unpublished.

3.  Check this box if you want to subscribe to video notifications. The user will receive email notifications when:

  • a video is flagged,
  • a video is enabled,
  • a video is disabled,
  • a video ended recording (follower),
  • a video is unpublished,
  • a recorded video covers multiple PPV events,
  • a player email message.

4.  Check this box if you want to subscribe to community notifications. The user will receive email notifications when:

  • they receive a new message,
  • they receive a new friend request,
  • they receive a message from a broadcaster to his followers,
  • they receive a new inquiry.

5.  Check this box if you want to subscribe to PPV notifications. The user will receive email notifications when:

  • their merchant is not set,
  • they sold a new event ticket,
  • they bought a new event ticket,
  • their channel subscription started,
  • the broadcaster changes a PPV event price,
  • their channel subscription terminated,
  • a user or the administrator of the website requested a refund,
  • a refund request was approved,
  • a refund request was denied,
  • a PayPal recurring payment failed,
  • a PayPal recurring payment was suspended.

6.  Check this box if you want to subscribe to General notifications. The user will receive email notifications when:

  • their IP has been banned,
  • their IP has been unbanned,
  • they have a new support request,
  • their support ticket has been re-opened,
  • their support ticket has been closed,
  • their support ticket has been answered,
  • they have a reply in a support ticket,
  • they have a new request for demo.

7.  Check this box if you want to subscribe to package notifications. The user will receive email notifications when:

  • their package bandwidth limit reached 80%,
  • their broadcaster free trial account has been created,
  • their broadcaster free trial account expires soon,
  • their broadcaster free trial account expired.

8. Click here to save the selected notification settings.
