Supported Video and Audio Codecs

You can use the Monster Encoder application from your account in order to trans-code your videos.

Direct uploading is available for a limited number of file formats (MP4 and FLV). Some 3rd party encoded FLV and MP4 files may not be compatible and this may cause playback issues. We recommend to re-encode these files with Monster Encoder.

Important: We only support the playback of files which have been encoded using the Monster Encoder. Using another encoder is at your own risk.

Note: Monster Encoder doesn’t support uploading videos which have Japanese/Arabic/Chinese or other foreign characters in their video names.

In channel manager, we support files encoded only with Monster Encoder. Videos that are not encoded with Monster Encoder may cause playback issues.
