Hong Kong is like a melting pot of cultures and cuisines. And we found a great one at this restaurant -- 1968 Restaurant which is Indonesian Food. So what exactly is Indonesian food? It's a combo of Thai and Indian but so much more.
We dive into veggies with Chicken cucumber. And of course, we had to have the classic Chicken curry. The Javanese Chicken was also superb. We also had a hiskabob with 3 meats with sauces. But the highlight was hearing John say "Gadu gadu" which is green beans with peanut sauce and cucumber. Yikes. We would go here again and again.
